Drawing on a diverse background of musical and theatrical training and years of performance experience, Katherine enjoys helping students of all ages and skill levels find greater fulfillment in artistic expression. Her philosophy focuses on cultivating a functional technique and honing musicianship skills so that students have the freedom to sing any style of music.
Katherine believes that no two voices are alike, and therefore no two voice lessons should be alike. Lessons include a combination of technical exercises, music theory, and musical repertoire study. Studies are individualized based on age, vocal temperament, and the student's needs and interests.
Katherine teaches privately in Stamford and New York City and is also on faculty at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). 30-, 45-, and 60-minute lessons are available. For studio policies, click here.
